Adios my friend

It's only been two days but already we are discovering the cultural ways of El Sauce. When you walk by someone, you say goodbye instead of hello.
"Adios," a small girl hollered and waved as she glided by from the front seat of a bicycle taxi. The woman selling fruit on the sidewalk smiled and said, "Adios."
We say "hola" only if we plan on stopping or staying a minute. if you're passing in the street, you say farewell.
"Its like stopping the conversation before it starts," says Kellan.

It is these little things that make you feel a part of the community.
