Tourism in the mountains

Walking around El Sauce, we met a man on horseback with his son. They live in the mountain community of Ocotal, where Kellan and Yacarely are developing tourism. He is the leader of the tourism initiative.
Yacarely, in fact, just won $10,000 in materials from the Millennium Challenge for a business plan for tourism there. There will be little cabins and a tourism center on donated land from a community member. Immediately, they are working with families who will offer home stays to tourists, tours of organic coffee farms and tours of the surrounding countryside on horseback.
There is no public transportation to Ocotal, so the man and his son come on horseback once a week for supplies. Maybe they play a little music too. The boy had a big guitar on his back.
